Things Your Kids Always Forget Before Going to School

You always have to check what your child needs before going to school. Don’t expect your child to be responsible enough to determine what to bring. It’s your responsibility as a parent always to double-check and offer constant reminders. These are the items often forgotten by your kids that are important for school.

Lunch box

You spend hours preparing what your child will eat at school. Even if you already feel tired from work, you still make it a point to prepare something healthy for your child. Unfortunately, your child forgets the lunch box and has nothing to eat. Although teachers will do something about it, you can’t make it a habit. You’re wasting resources since no one wants to eat the food that was for lunch.

Homework

How many times did your child’s grades get affected because of failing to pass the homework? You have to remind your child to check if there’s homework and finish it before going to bed. In the morning, before you head to work, you have to offer the same reminder. Otherwise, your child will completely forget to submit it. You can offer help to get things done, but don’t make it a habit. Giving a reminder is okay, but you can’t let your child be completely dependent on you for academic needs.

Phone protection device

Given how much your child wants to watch videos on their phone or play video games, it’s almost impossible to forget the phone. It’s also a good thing since you want to have a means of reaching out to your child. But your child could become addicted because of constant phone use. Worse, there might be health issues as a result of overexposure to radiation. Tell your child that the use of EMF protection can help block radiation despite constant phone use. It’s important not to leave it at home. It comes in different forms like a fashion accessory or an item to keep inside their bag. As long the item is with them, they will stay safe.

Textbook

Teachers don’t completely depend on textbooks these days. There are times when they come up with new and original activities to complement the information provided in the books. However, there are times when the book is important, especially for homework and exercises. As such, your child could forget to bring the book to school. It would be terrible if there’s homework in the book or a lesson for the day. You have to remind your child to check if all the necessary books are inside the bag before leaving.

At some point, your child needs to become independent and learn how to remind themselves of what to bring to school. For now, it’s still your responsibility as a parent to ensure that your child doesn’t feel worried at school because of the things forgotten at home. It also feels good to know that even if your child is already growing up, you’re still an important figure.
